Turkey appointed a new ambassador to Moldova

On 2 March, Moldova’s Prime Minister Vlad Filat met Turkish Ambassador to Moldova Mehmet Selim Kartal.

The prime minister welcomed the new ambassador to Moldova, accredited on 3 February, and wished him success in his diplomatic activity. At the meeting, Vlad Filat said relations between the two states are very good and have development prospects.

The prime minister hailed the resumption of the work of the Moldovan-Turkish inter-governmental commission for economic, trade, technical and scientific cooperation.
