Georgia and Turkey have an excellent relationship, says ambassador to Turkey

Turkey and Georgia cooperate very well in political, economical, energy and other fields. This is according to the Georgian ambassador to Turkey, Tariel Lebanidze.

“There is outstanding cooperation between our two countries,” he said.

Georgia and Turkey have a good relationship after Georgia’s independence from the Soviet Union.

The two countries scrapped visas in 2006 and since last May their citizens can travel back and forth only with national identity documents.
