Head of the IMF team for Greece to visit the country in May

Poul Thomsen, the head of the IMF team for Greece, is set to visit the country after the May 6 election before a mission visit takes place the following month.

He is likely to conduct a staff visit that will last a couple of days to assess the situation in Greece following the election.

Other IMF and EC representatives are expected to visit Athens in June.
