Boris Tadic expressed his intention to form a team for EU accession talks if he becomes a president.
“The job ahead of us is enormous and it requires a high level of expertise and efficiency. My team of people who are working on European integration is, I am sure, the best in Serbia,” he stressed.
“We must be aware that we will need to go through more difficult stages in the talks than any country before us, because the bar has been raised. But I know we can handle all of it,” Tadić added.
“The shortest talks lasted five years, and if we continue to work in the way I propose, within five to seven years we can do our best and get to a place where we can get membership,” he explained.
