Romania’s Prime Minister-designate Victor Ponta on Tuesday presented his new cabinet.
The parliament will vote on the new government on May 7.
“Our political and economic vision will ensure predictability and boost the creation of jobs in Romania,” Ponta said. “This is a special government designed for special times. It has a limited mandate of six months until the [next] parliamentary elections”.
Ponta was nominated for the premier’s post last Friday, after the last government fallen after a no-confidence vote.
