Swedish FM says that Serbia shoult receive EU talks date

Democratic Party (DS) honorary president Boris Tadić and Swedish FM Carl Bildt have agreed that Serbia deserves to get a date for the EU accession talks.

Tadić and Bildt met in Estonia during an international conference.

European External Action Service (EEAS) advisor Robert Cooper and Bildt stressed that Serbia’s request to the International Court of Justice to issue an opinion on Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence had allowed almost all political powers in Serbia to adopt peaceful policy and Serbia to remain on the EU pathway despite all challenges, the DS said in a release.
