Armenia and Georgia discuss regional security

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met Monday, July 1, with visiting Georgian Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili.

Welcoming the guest, President Sargsyan stressed the importance of mutual visits by high-ranking officialsand voiced hope that his meetings with the representatives of Armenia’s police and national security service will help strengthen cooperation.

The two men also discussed some regional security issues.
