Bulgarians continue protests against government

Protesters formed a human chain on Thursday around the Bulgarian parliament in capital Sofia on the 35th day of demonstrations against Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski’s government.

Calling for a broader participation for Thursday’s demos, protesters shut down almost all crossroads in downtown Sofia, blocking traffic flow.

Scolding the parliamentarians as they entered the parliament building with police escorts, protesters chanted “Resign” and “Mafia”.
