Turkmenistan appoints ambassadors to Romania and Croatia

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov appointed Turkmen Ambassador to Romania Shohrat Jumayev extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Croatia, the Turkmen government said today.

Turkmenistan and Croatia are examining the prospects for cooperation in the fields of fuel and energy complex, industry, transport, communications and telecommunications, construction and tourism.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s official visit to Zagreb in June 2009 was an impetus for the development of bilateral relations.
