Bulgaria supports Serbia’s accession to the EU

Bulgaria supports Serbia’s accession to the EU, Bulgarian National Assembly President Mihail Mikov said in Belgrade, where he met with his Serbian counterpart Nebojsa Stefanovic.

Mr Mikov added his visit had the purpose to intensify cooperation and improve relations between Serbia and Bulgaria.

The two counterparts discussed speeding up the construction of border checkpoints and of adequate infrastructure between the countries. Bulgaria is ready to share its experience in the transfer of European legislation to the domestic law and order of its western neighbour, Mr Mikov said.
