Turkish President meets Obama in New York

imgTurkish President Abdullah Gül has had conversation with his U.S. counterpart Barrack Obama in private during a lunch hosted by the United Nations General Secretary Ban Ki-Moon on Sept.24 for the honorary of delegation heads.

Sitting at the same table, two leaders had some time to talk despite the crowded gathering.

President Gül has expressed his support for the U.S.-Russian agreement for the destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons arsenal in his speech at the UNGA.
