Bosnian FM expects the region to make progress on cooperation

The foreign minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina expects the region to make progress in cooperation over the coming year.

“There are a number of open issues, but there is also a good will and desire to resolve them,” Lagumdžija said.

“I expect that in 2014, the year we are observing 100 years since the beginning of World War I, which was started in this very region, in Sarajevo, we will have completed the process of “rebranding” of the region, of turning it from being a region of conflict, turmoil and crisis into a region of cooperation, peace and prosperity,” Lagumdžija said.
