Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on January 10 that Bashar al-Assad is the source of evil in Syria.
Turkey’s position on Syria remains unchanged, according to the minister.
During the conflict in Syria, which began in March 2011, over 115, 000 people have been killed and over 4.2 million have become refugees in Syria, as well as two million having fled to neighbouring countries.
The main burden of receiving refugees lay on Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.
