Azerbaijani FM to take part in EU Eastern Partnership meeting

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will visit Belgium, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said on July 21.

The delegation led by Mammadyarov will visit Belgium to take part in the fifth meeting of the foreign ministers of EU Eastern Partnership countries on July 22 in Brussels, the ministry said.

The Eastern Partnership, covering six countries, including Azerbaijan, is an initiative of Poland and Sweden aimed at improving the relations with the CIS countries within the EU Neighborhood Policy.
