Border guards, militants exchange fire on Tunisia, Algeria border

imgFire exchange between border guards and a terrorist group took place, Saturday around 01.00 a.m., in the locality of Babouch in Ain Draham (governorate of Jendouba).
“The terrorists opened fire on the side of Wadi Edholma, lying within the border crossing point between Tunisia and Algeria,” a security source said to TAP correspondent in Jendouba, specifying that this border post is located in a dense forest cover.

 “A combing operation is underway in the region, hunting for these terrorists,” the same source added.

The information was confirmed by spokesman for the Interior Ministry Mohamed Ali Laroui.
