A Tunisian mission will soon be sent to Libya to assess the security situation in the Libyan civil airports, the Foreign Ministry said Thursday.
The mission involves the airports of “Lobruk”, “Tobruk”, “Misurata” and “Mitiga,” said the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Mokhtar Chaouachi TAP.
“The mission will report on security at civilian airports to decide on the resumption of air traffic between the two countries,” he said.
“The resumption of traffic between Tunisia and Libya depends on the security situation in the Libyan airports,” he said.
The mission will include representatives of the Ministries of Transport and Interior and Tunisair Company, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Consulate General in Libya.
