Suspected militants of Boko Haram group in Nigeria have killed 11 soldiers in an attack neighboring Chad during the night in a border region, a Chadian military source said.
Seventeen attackers also died in fighting, the source told Reuters. Chad is a major contributor to a regional force 8700 strong fight against Boko Haram, which has expanded beyond its heart Nigerian northeast to attack Chad and other neighboring countries, Niger and Cameroon.
