This air raid, conducted on February 19 against a training camp of the Islamic State group (EI), had made a hundred deaths. The Pentagon said it had probably avoided a bombing in Tunisia.

Tunisia, which has repeatedly expressed its concern about the chaos in Libya, recently completed the construction of a “system of barriers” nearly half of the 500 km of common border, to strengthen the fight against smuggling weapons and more broadly against terrorism.
Monday, London announced that a team of 20 British soldiers would visit the country in order to help secure the border, fighting in particular “against illegal entry.”
