Libyan Army holds military maneuver east of Misrata

The Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maitiq, attended Saturday a military exercise with live ammunition at the Military Nemwa Airbase in the district of Sadada, east of Misrata.
Several officials from the Libyan Armed Forces attended the exercise including Chief of Staff of Air Force, Major General Ali Aboudia, and Brig. Gen. Abdul Rahman Al-Taweel, Chief of Staff of
Ground Forces, in addition to Commander of the Central Military Region, Major General Mohammed Haddad.
The exercise, which lasted for more than three consecutive hours, aimed to enhance the combat potential of ground forces, in partnership with the Libyan Air Force, according to military leaders.
The military commanders who attended the exercise insisted on the continuation of the tactical maneuvers that will contribute in building the morale of the military corps.
