CBI bans use of cryptocurrencies

The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) officially banned the use of cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin, in financial transactions. The act is to prevent crimes such as money laundering and terrorism, the Public Relations Department of CBI announced.
