As clashes erupt on frontlines in Aleppo countryside | Turkish forces shell villages in Kurdish-held areas

Turkish forces stationed at the research base in northern Aleppo countryside, shelled the village of Maranaz and the perimeter of Tel Rifa’at in areas held by Kurdish forces in Aleppo countryside.

Meanwhile, Kurdish forces targeted with artillery the Kafr Khasher frontline in Azaz countryside, coinciding with clashes between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on the frontlines.

On February 9, Turkish forces shelled the villages of Maranaz, Al-Malikia, Sheikh Issa and the perimeter of Tal Rifa’at in the areas held by Kurdish forces in northern Aleppo countryside. No casualties were reported so far.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had monitored rocket attacks by Turkish forces on areas held by Kurdish forces, south of the city of Azaz in northern Aleppo countryside, while Kurdish forces shelled Turkish bases in the area, but no casualties were reported.
