Syrian army eliminates Daesh terrorists in the desert

The Syrian army today shot down a group from the Islamic State terrorist organization (Daesh, in Arabic) in the desert of the central province of Homs.

The operation was carried out with the support of Russian aerospace forces, whose reconnaissance planes detected a hideout where four terrorists were sheltering and all of them were eliminated, Al-Watan newspaper reported .

Two pick-up trucks equipped with medium machine guns were also destroyed and some weapons used by NATO, ammunition and explosives were found in possession of the radicals.

According to analysts, for its attacksk against civilians and the military in desert areas Daesh receives logistical and supply support from the U.S. base of Al Tanef, located further south in the border triangle between Syria, Iraq and Jordan.

The Damascus government denounced that the United States transferred dozens of Daesh extremists in helicopters to this base to use them again against the Syrian Army and its allies.

Likewise, the government made public the confessions of captured terrorists, in which they confirmed that the recent attacks in the desert are planned and facilitated by Washington, which offers them support with weapons and intelligence information in order to prolong the war in this nation of the Levant.
