Jordan-Based Egyptian Islamic Scholar Zaghloul Al-Naggar: Ukrainian President Zelensky Is A Zionist Extremist; Secular World Leaders Are Crazy, Will Use Nuclear Weapons

Jordan-based Egyptian Islamic scholar Sheikh Zaghloul Al-Naggar said in a March 5, 2022 show on the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Channel 9 (Turkey) that it is hypocritical for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to have asked the Mufti of Ukraine to pray for its protection because Zelensky is an “extremist Zionist.” Al-Naggar also said that world leaders who do not believe in God can be “real lunatics” and might use nuclear weapons and bring an end to the world. Zaghloul Al-Naggar: “If you take out the fear of God from Man, he becomes a wild beast, who does not care about the security and well-being of others. The world, both in the East and in the West, has a destructive force in the hands of real lunatics. This power is at the hand of people who have no religious faith.

“By God, these people are crazy. Their considerations are purely materialistic. If any one of them believes that defeat is near, they will use nuclear weapons. There is no doubt about it. This might be the end of the world in which we live.”

Interviewer: “The President of Ukraine, Zelensky, called on the Mufti of Ukrainian Muslims to pray for Allah to protect his country. What is your opinion on this issue, knowing that there are more than 400,000 Muslims in Ukraine?”

Al-Naggar: “Obviously, this position is completely false. [Zelensky] is a Zionist extremist, whose positions about the Palestinian cause are very negative, which are devoid of justice and humanity. So how can he ask the Muslims in his country to pray for the victory of Ukraine? This is clear hypocrisy.”
