Israel presented Hamas with a proposal for a permanent end to the war: “This is truly a decisive moment.”

American President Joe Biden said during a speech about the war in Gaza that Israel presented a new ceasefire proposal, which was forwarded to Hamas via Qatar.

“The focus was on a permanent end to this war, one that brings all hostages home, ensures Israel’s security, creates a better day after in Gaza without Hamas in power, and sets the stage for a political solution that provides a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians equally.”

Biden said that the new proposal is “a roadmap to a permanent ceasefire and the release of all hostages.”

“This is truly a decisive moment. Hamas must accept the agreement. It is time to end this war they started,” Biden said.
