$1.74bln of Petrochemicals Exported from Khuzestan

A00423956.jpgTEHRAN (FNA) – Since the beginning of the year [Iranian year started 20 March 2007] more than 2.99m tons of petrochemical products have been exported from the oil-rich Khuzestan Province.

The supervising managing director of Khuzestan customs said that the value of the exported goods was USD1.74bln. He said that some of the exported items included gas products of propylene, butane, propane, paraxylene and ethane.

He added that these products had been exported to countries in south-east Asia, Persian Gulf region and Europe.
