Friday, Croatia’s Central Bureau of Statistics announced that the consumer price index or CPI rose 4.2% year-over-year in February, larger than the 3.4% increase recorded in the previous month.
In February, food and non-alcoholic beverages prices grew 6.3% on an annual basis, while clothing and footwear prices rose 0.3%. Prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels increased 7.6%.
Month-on-month, consumer prices were up 0.6% in February, slower than the 1.2% rise in the previous month. At the same time, food and non-alcoholic beverages prices rose 0.23%, while prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels grew 0.19%.
