Romania and Azerbaijan have signed Tuesday a memorandum on co-operation in the energy sector through which the Azerbaijan company can export oil and gas to Romania and EU SOCAR can export oil and gas to the European Union, including Romania, the director of the economy ministry Koreliu Kondoia, who is part of the Romanian delegation in Baku, headed by the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Tudor Serban said.
“Through this memorandum Romania and Azerbaijan has established a co-operation on every project concerning the transportation of oil or gas from the region of the Caspian Sea towards the European Union, including Romania,” he said.
