In a year, the citizens of Turkey may enter Moldova visa free. The subject had been discussed at bilateral political consultations in Chisinau during several days. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman said that Moldova and Turkey share a number of areas of interest, including the liberalization of the visa regime.
“The political dialogue is very efficient, the bilateral trade develops and Turkey is an important socioeconomic partner of Moldova. There are many Moldovans living in Turkey and students studying there. Turkey also provides scholarships for our students. Thus, there are preconditions for liberalizing the visa regime between Moldova and Turkey,” said Natalia Gherman.
