Greece has called on the Macedonian government to remain dedicated to the negotiations about the name dispute.
A statement of the Greek Foreign Ministry reads that the judgment of the Hague-based International Court of Justice will be analyzed thoroughly, but Greece remains focused on the main message in the judgment that the two sides should actively continue the UN-mediated talks.
According to the spokesperson for the Greek Foreign Ministry Grigoris Delavekouras in the next period Athens will focus on two main conclusions in the court’s judgment – that the court did not told Greece how to act in the future and the two countries should continue holding negotiations about the name row.
