The Hague court issued an order for the Secretariat to appoint the committee consisting of three doctors and file a report on the defendant’s aptitude to be placed in detention having in mind his health.
At the same time, the court called on Šešelj to cooperate and show good will for the three doctors to examine his health and access his medical records.
In January, Šešelj was fitted with a pacemaker, which later turned out to have a faulty electrode. He underwent surgery again last Friday to have the electrode replaced.
