Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said some agents working for the enemies of the Iranian nation seek to sow seeds of discord between Iran and regional countries while all regional states are cooperating with each other in a brotherly manner. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an open session of the parliament where his education and training minister was impeached, the president strongly rejected some recent reports about Iran’s decision for giving up sovereignty over its Persian Gulf Island of ‘Abu Musa’.
He referred to his recent visit to the United Arab Emirates, and stressed, “I told the media there that some agents working for the enemies of the Iranian nation seek to sow seeds of discord between Iran and regional countries while all regional states are cooperating with each other in a brotherly manner.
