Tunisia condemns Istanbul terrorist attack

Eleven people including seven policemen and four civilians were killed and 36 others wounded in a car bomb attack on police bus this morning in Istanbul.
Tunisia, on Tuesday, condemned the terrorist attack that targeted this morning Beyazit Square district in the Turkish city of Istanbul and claimed the lives of several police officers and innocent civilians.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry, it expressed sincere feelings of condolence to the government and people of Turkey and to the families of victims in these painful circumstances.
Tunisia called on the international community to strengthen regional and international co-operation to defeat terrorism.
