EU to reopen border assistance mission’s bureau in Tripoli

The Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Libya Bettina Muscheidt has revealed in a meeting with the Libyan Foreign Minister of the Government of National Accord Mohammed Sayala that they will reopen the border assistance mission’s bureau in Libya’s capital Tripoli soon, not specifying a date for the comeback.
The delegation’s head, Muscheidt, said Tuesday that there is some sort of coordination with Libyan authorities including the Interior and Justice Ministries for the return of the EU border assistance mission.
“There will be also projects that are going to be implemented in Libya to help the Libyan people, especially children, in addition to the coordination with the Libyan concerned authorities regarding efforts to end illegal immigration.
