Bosnian Serb sentenced for war crimes

A court in Bihac on Monday (July 2nd) sentenced a Bosnian Serb man to 15 years in prison for war crimes against Muslims. Zeljko Kecman was found guilty of torturing and killing three civilians at Sanski Most at the beginning of the Bosnian conflict in 1992. The crimes were committed while Serbs were trying to drive members of other ethnic groups out of the area.In other news, Swedish investigators plan to travel to BiH to interrogate a Bosnian man suspected of being a serial killer. Goran Kotaran, 24, allegedly admitted to friends that he killed more than ten people while living in Sweden.
