Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has condemned the attack outside the headquarters of the Republican Guard in Egypt’s capital.

The European Union Monday condemned the violence in Egypt which has led to the death of scores of people and urged for calm and return to dialogue and the democratization process.

At least 42 people were killed Monday in clashes outside a military facility in the Egyptian capital of Cairo, the Health Ministry announced.
