Adli Mansour was on Thursday sworn in as interim head of state at the Supreme Constitutional Court in Cairo, Egypt. This came a day after the military overthrew President Muhamed Morsi in a coup.

Georgia will continue its aspiration for NATO membership. A meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Council held in Tbilisi last week testified to this, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
