Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić said that no Serbian officials will be attending the inauguration of new Croatian President Ivo Josipović.

The EU Foreign and Security Policies Chief Catherine Ashton will be making a visit to Serbia on Thursday. Ashton will be meeting with Serbian senior officials, including the president, prime minister, and other cabinet officials to discuss Serbia’s EU integration process. 

Russia and the Georgian rebel region of Abkhazia signed a deal yesterday allowing Moscow to build a military base on its soil, increasing its dependence on its sponsor and stoking tensions with Tbilisi.
