Dick Marty, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) rapporteur who recently wrote a report on alleged illegal CIA detentions in Romania and Poland, came under fire by members of the European Parliament (MEPs) on Tuesday (July 17th).

The province’s negotiating team, the Unity Group, decided on Tuesday (July 17th) that parliament will hold a debate on July 30th concerning the delay in resolving Kosovo’s status.

The United States and its EU allies formally introduced a draft resolution on Kosovo late Tuesday (July 17th) despite Russia’s opposition to the text. It calls for 120 days of new talks between Belgrade and Pristina, after which the UN Security Council would review the situation.
