Iran’s former President Seyed Mohammad Khatami Friday blasted western countries for politicizing Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities.

Iranian foreign ministry here on Friday voiced its strong protest at a recent court ruling issued by a British judge for the extradition of a former Iranian diplomat to the US on charges of the purchase of a number of night-vision binoculars.

Military attaché of the Saudi embassy in Tehran said his country welcomes holding of joint military maneuvers with Iran, describing Tehran as a strategic friend of Riyadh.
