Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed that the development of ties with independent European countries sets a principle of his country’s foreign policy.

Iran and South Korea on Saturday signed an agreement to form a joint investment committee, Iranian Economic Affairs and Finance Ministry said.

During the last 27 years, Iran has always safeguarded its territorial borders and it is needless of theatrical measures and scene-setting, an Iranian informed source said in reaction to the recent statements of the German Foreign Minister, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
