EU to decide in June if it sets date for Macedonia’s accession negotiations

The EU will decide in June whether to set a starting date for Macedonia’s accession negotiations.

The agreement between Serbia and Kosovo was the major issue under discussion at Monday’s meeting of the EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg.

Macedonia was on the agenda, but no decision was made. Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki said the diplomatic actions would be stepped up to ensure progress.
