Turkish FM congratulates new foreign and defense ministers of Greece

imgTurkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has called the new Greek foreign and defense ministers to congratulate them on their new posts.

In a recent Cabinet reshuffle, Evangelos Venizelos, the leader of the Socialist Pasok party, was named deputy prime minister and foreign minister; while Dimitris Avramopoulos, a former foreign minister, was appointed defense minister.

During his telephone conversations with both ministers, Davutoğlu stated he would be happy to develop collaboration between the two countries and to work together.
