Syrian-Iranian Relations are Good, Sheikh Khomeini Says

Grandson of Imam Khomeini in Iran Sheikh Sayyed Hasan al-Khomeini described Thursday relations between Iran and Syria as good, expressing hope that these relations will be continued during the current conditions.

“Muslims and the Islamic nations should be aware of the ongoing events in the world, they must solve their disputes and prepare a suitable atmosphere to boost unity”, Khomeini said during a meeting with Syrian Minister of Islamic Endowments Ziad al-Din al-Ayyobi.

Minister Ayyobi, for his part, stressed that Syria as government and people calls for enhancing relations with Iran.
