Hoseini to Be Appointed as Iran’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

A0010874.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- An informed source said that Iran’s ambassador to Senegal, Mohammad Hoseini, is due to be appointed as the country’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The source stated that Hoseini’s new mission is in line with the changes which have taken place since President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ascended to power last year.

Hoseini is due to replace Hosein Sadeqi, the incumbent ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Riyadh.

The source gave FNA no further details in this regard.

Meantime, deputy Foreign Minister for Consulate and Parliamentary Affairs Hamid Reza Asefi is scheduled to replace Tehran’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Mohammad Ali Hadi.
