President attends Iftar dinner for martyrs’ families

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here Wednesday attended an Iftar (fast breaking) dinner held at the Presidential Office to honor families of martyrs.

In the gathering, the martyrs’ families spoke to the president about their problems and told him they were pinning their hopes on him.

The president praised the families and urged their sons to seriously pursue their studies so they can fill the places made empty by their loved ones who had sacrificed their lives.

The president issued necessary instructions concerning matters brought to his attention in letters presented to him by families of the martyrs
