German Parliamentary Delegation Due in Tehran

A01528081.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- A delegation composed of the members of the Disarmament, Weapons Control, WMDs Non-Proliferation and Foreign Policy subcommittee of the German parliament is due to pay a visit to Iran.

During the two-day visit, the delegation, which is headed by the subcommittee chairwoman and member of the Social-Democratic Party Mrs. Ota Sapof, will discuss Iran’s nuclear programs and issues related to the non-proliferation of the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs) in meetings with the Iranian officials.

Members of the leftist fraction of the German Parliament are also among the delegation members who will start their visit on October 29.

Following their visit to Tehran, the German lawmakers are scheduled to leave for Vienna to attend talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officials.
