TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Visiting Azeri Defense Industry Minister Yavar Jamalov here on Monday paid tribute to the Father of the Islamic Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini.
Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry minister arrived in Tehran on Sunday and attended a meeting with the Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najjar.
In a ceremony held at the mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic in southern Tehran, Jamalov laid a wreath on Imam’s grave.
Elsewhere, the Azeri official paid a visit to the Defense Industry’s permanent fair, where he observed Iran’s military potentials and capabilities in areas of air, naval, ground, missile and electronic defense systems and instruments.
After visiting the fair, Jamalov signed the memorial book of the exhibition, where he praised Iran’s capabilities in defense industries.
