Mottaki Discusses Regional Issues with Moussa, Ihsanoglu

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki in separate phone talks with Arab League chief Amr Moussa and OIC Chief Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu on Monday discussed important regional issues.

A statement released by the Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Bureau said that during his phone conversations, Mottaki noted possession of nuclear weapons recently admitted by the Zionist regime, and further stressed that the international bodies and organizations should break their meaningful silence in the face of the issue and make the necessary decisions in this regard based on their legal duties and world responsibilities.

For their parts, Arab League chief Amr Moussa and Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) chief Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu confirmed the sensitivity of the issue and its effects and aftermaths, and further reiterated the need for following up on the case and consultations with other members of the two organizations in order to devise and adopt the proper mechanisms and strategies.
