Iran, Venezuela Ink 10 Cooperation Agreements

A02351923.jpgTEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Tehran and Caracas issued a joint statement and signed 10 cooperation agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in various grounds on Saturday.

During the meeting which was attended by the two presidents, the Iranian and Venezuelan officials endorsed a MoU on avoiding double-taxation, tourism and enhanced cooperation for the improvement and promotion of Venezuela’s technical and professional status.

Basic and modern industries, cooperation between Iran’s Movahhed Machines Company and Venezuela’s National Company for Basic Industries on mass production and cooperation between Iran’s Petro Pars and Venezuela’s Oil Company were also among the other areas for which the two sides signed agreements.

Memoranda of understanding on cooperation in the housing sector, cooperation between the two countries’ press and news agencies and cooperation between Iran’s Imam Khomeini Relief Committee and Venezuela’s Agricultural Revolution Organization were among the other agreements signed by the two countries.
