Senior Saudi Security Official Due in Tehran

TEHRAN (Fars News Agency)- Saudi Arabia’s National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Bandar bin Sultan is due to pay a visit to Tehran to attend talks with senior Iranian officials on Thursday, an informed source said.

The source also told FNA that Sultan seems to be conveying a message from his king Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz Al Saud to high ranking officials of the Islamic Republic.

During the visit, Sultan will meet with his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani who paid a visit to Saudi Arabia in mid January.

In his sojourn in Riyadh, the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) conferred with the Saudi King and other high ranking officials about bilateral ties, regional topics and issues of the world of Islam.
